3rd – 19th November – Seoul Lantern Festival

If you’re looking for your next perfect photo for Instagram, or just love seeing pretty lights at night, you HAVE to be in Seoul this month! Going across just over two weeks, you’ll be able to find thousands upon thousands of lanterns lining the 1.2km path along the Cheonggyecheon Stream. Each year, there is a different theme for the lantern style, and this year the theme is ‘Lights of Pyeongchang Olympic Winter Games in Seoul’. We can’t wait to see how this theme is represented in the Lantern Festival!

17th – 19th November – Gwangju World Kimchi Culture Festival

Are you a kimchi lover, or just curious about the hype around this mysterious national favourite? Either way, the Kimchi Culture Festival in Gwangju will tell you everything you could possibly need to know about kimchi and more. Art galleries, cooking competitions and kimchi markets among other things will be there, so why not stop by on one of the three days of the festival?

24th – 26th November – Paju Jangdan Soybean Festival

You probably haven’t heard of the city of Paju before, but we’re about to convince you that it’s worth a visit – especially for the Soybean Festival! It’s the best way to see autumn out in style before we welcome the winter, as you get to enjoy eating and making food stuffs all based upon the Jangdan Soybean. The best part is that the admission is free – so now you have no excuse not to go and take a look!

From food festivals to spectacular light shows, you’ll be able to absorb Korea’s rich culture no matter what time of the month you visit.
