Wonder Girls disbanded
Say it ain’t so, but another legendary girl group has disbanded. This time it’s Wonder Girls. Named as queens of the second generation of K-pop idols, they announced the four member group will be disbanding after they release their final single. The news comes as a shock because their latest single ‘Why So Lonely’ became a successful hit.

Actor Lee Min Ho rumoured enlistment date
Military service is mandatory for South Korean men between the ages of 18 and 35 and this does not exclude idols. The latest rumour on celebrity enlistment is about actor Lee Min Ho. It was rumoured he would be enlisting in March or April this year, but his agency MYM Entertainment confirmed no enlistment date has been set. Phew.
Running Man is ending/not ending
First it was Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook were leaving. Then it was said they were forced to leave. Then the show was ending. But finally, SBS has come to a conclusion. Running Man is not ending this year. Was there any need for the drama, SBS and RM producers?

IU and Jang Ki Ha break up
After dating for four years, the power couple IU and Jang Ki Ha have called it quits and ended their relationship. The news of their break up was announced later this month, but there were rumours she was dating Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo co-star Lee Joon-gi beforehand. *Rolls eyes* The media cannot get enough drama.
The couple had met during Jang Ki Ha’s SBS Power FM radio broadcast and began their relationship in 2013, but it was not until 2015 when the media confirmed their relationship.
Rain and Kim Tae Hee married
Singer-songwriter and actor Rain and actress Kim Tae Hee tied the knot earlier this month after being together for five years. They had a small intimate wedding which was heavily guarded against the media. In his recent single ‘The Best Present’ seemed to be a prelude to the wedding which came as a surprise to their fans, but they offered their love and support.
The newly married couple have not planned a honeymoon and said they are in no rush to have children, but in a recent episode of The Return of Superman Kim Tae Hee said she wants a fiendlike daughter. Congratulations, Rain and Kim Tae Hee!
BTS’ V Live channel surpasses 4 million followers
Watch out, BTS are breaking records left right and centre. This time on V Live. They have become the first channel on Naver’s V Live to reach 4 million followers. Nearly half of them live outside of Asia and they have the most followers from North and South America, Europe and Africa out of all the channels on the site.
The group are currently preparing for their comeback in under two weeks (we are NOT ready) and their album ‘WINGS: You Never Walk Alone’ on February 13.
