A Brief Introduction to Korean Lifestyle

Life in Korea

If you were to sum up life in Korea in just a couple words they would be, “Hard and Beautiful.” When most people think of Korea they think of K-Pop, K-Dramas and maybe beauty products, but there is so much more. Korea is a country of a beautiful people (not just talking about looks) with a long, rich heritage. A deep proud culture steeped in tradition.

Hard Work

Korea is known for its innovations in convenience, but there is a reason they have focused so much on it. Almost from day one, they are on a hard path. They are raised with a hard focus on respect. Respect for their elders (even if it is only a month older), their family (past and present), fellow person, country and, for themselves. They will put many long hours into studying to get top grades. Often they getting home before 10pm is unheard of. When they graduate from university they will work hard to provide for their family. They will save and invest to make sure that they are not a burden to their children in the future. Of course, with this, it means they will equally play hard every chance they get!

Beautiful

As you travel through Korea, you will see a place to have fun, relax, eat, drink, dance, sing and just unwind. With driving ranges, arcades, pubs, restaurants, clubs, unique cafes, noraebang (karaoke rooms), spas, nature trails and so much more. You can never say you have nothing to do when in Korea. The best part is that the prices are usually really low too! No matter what time of year you go, there is almost always a festival to celebrate some aspect of life. With all that the proud people of Korea accomplish in their life, there is always a reason to celebrate!
