Got a mountain of things to do but you just don’t feel like getting started? We’ve all been there. However, we’ve learnt to never underestimate the power of music! With the right song, your mood can completely change from lazy to energized. After reading your suggestions on our Instagram, we’ve come up with a motivational playlist of some of your favourite K-Pop songs!
Give it to me – Agust D
Confidence, pride, intelligence – this track exudes it all. If you like at the lyrics closely from the BTS superstar, you can see how he’s speaking from the heart. Maybe his words about his struggles to success can motivate you to work hard too. After all, if he can achieve his goals with a lot of hard work then so can you!
Happiness – Red Velvet
The clue to what this song is about is in the name! The girls sing about the importance of happiness, and how many of us aren’t truly happy in today’s high pressure society. However, if you listen to their advice as well as the super catchy beat, we’re sure you can feel just as happy as them!
Can’t Bring Me Down – EXO
With a slightly haunting beat, this track off of EXO’s album ‘Lotto’ is definitely a hit with us. Reading the lyrics at the same time as listening to the song makes you feel invincible, as if nothing can bring you down which is something we all need to hear every now and again.
Two! Three! (Hoping For More Good Days) – BTS
As with many BTS songs, this one is incredibly truthful and perfectly voices what the younger generations are feeling. Instead of saying that things will only go up from here, they tell us to hope for good days and try to forget the bad ones. As hard as that is to do, we think it’s worth giving a go.
I – Taeyeon
It’s hard to pick a favourite among Taeyeon’s solo tracks, but ‘I’ is definitely a great motivator. She reminds us that all of our struggles now are simply preparing us for a future where we are stronger.
Fighter – Monsta X
Just as the name suggests, this song from up and coming group Monsta X is all about being as strong as you can be. That it’s important to never give up, and even if you’re not strong enough to succeed now, you will be in the future.
Try – Jimin Park
We think that this song should be made compulsory listening to everyone of all ages, but particularly younger generations. At the beginning Jimin is disheartened, yet by the end she’s feeling alright again. This is symbolic of the fact that the hard times don’t last forever, and that good times are just around the corner. You just have to hang in there!
We hope this list has helped you to build a playlist of your own of songs that’ll make you feel like a superhero!
