Top 10 K-Pop Karaoke songs!

When you find yourself in a noraebang next, these are some of our top picks.

1. Twice – Cheer Up.

The girlgroup from JYP entertainment who debuted in 2015 has done well to recently achieve their 6th win on ‘Music Bank’. Released in 2016, this song isn’t that old but sure is one to bust out with your friends.

2. Big Bang – Fantastic Baby.

This song came out in 2012, six years after their debut and with a whole host of anthems under their belt, it was hard to just pick one. However, this one sure is ‘Fantastic Baby!’ 😀

3. SHINee – Ring Ding dong.

It’s an oldie but a goodie, and a classic SHINee song from 2009.  This hip-hop song about unconsciously falling in love was the number one banned song around college entrance exam time for a reason. It’s catchy hook and repetitive nature makes it an easy and fun song to sing.

4. SNSD (Girl’s Generation) – Gee.

It’s a song that is remembered by many as a part of their youth or K-Music journeys. Girl’s Genaration has solidified themselves as the classic Korean girl group. ‘Gee,’ released in 2009 on the group’s first EP, is a bubblegum pop song that will get you up and dancing in no time.

5. BTS – Fire.

BTS has had a successful 2017 and hopefully 2018 too. Fire is an upbeat hip-hop song and one of our favourites. It’s a perfect song to try to sing at karaoke, perhaps even dance to if you’re brave enough.

6. Crush – Beautiful.

This slow ballad is sung by the very talented Crush and featured on the OST for the popular drama ‘Goblin.’ Why not sing the ballad as if you’re serenading Gong Yoo himself.

7. Blackpink – Boombayah.

It’s a head-bopper and a booty shaker, this band have an upcoming debut but for now, their first song is the song to sing with all your friends.

8. Red Velvet – Red Flavour.

Red Velvet are well known for making catchy tunes. This song has been our guilty pleasure for a while now. At the sound of Ba-Balgamat no one can resist singing along.

9. M.C The Max – No matter where.

This song is not as commonly known to everyone but is a love song from M.C THE MAX released in 2015. The rock band debuted in 2000 as a group of four under the name Moon Child. However, one member left and the remaining trio decided to rename themselves. M.C THE MAX. With eight studio albums under their belts, it’s no wonder that one of their songs made it to the list.

10. Super Junior – Sorry Sorry.

Last but not least Super Junior comes at you with another classic song. Released in 2009 from their third studio album of the same name, ‘Sorry Sorry’ was a critically acclaimed success for the boys. The song showed a more mature side to them. It’s a catchy song with fewer rap verses than usual, so if you’re not one who enjoys rapping this is the pick for you.

Bonus Song. Park Hyo Shin – Wild Flower.

Park Hyo Shin has been singing since he was a child in his parent’s restaurant and released his first album in 1999. He has an angelic voice and songs that warm your heart. This song is one of his well-known ones and was released in 2014.
