I would like to win Cook Korean! by Robin Ha :3 the drawings are so cute and it looks like it would be good for a Korean cooking newbie 😀 I think the dish I’d want to cook first would be Jjajangmyeon because it’s in almost every kdrama and I’ve always wondered what it tastes like 😀

I would love to win Cook Korean! I find the comic book style for a cookbook such an original idea and the recipes no doubt will be delicious! I’d definitely try cooking the Soft Tofu Soup first of all and then Makkimchi!

I would like The Korean Table: From Barbecue to Bibimbap as I have just got an electric korean bbq but mostly because the first thing I’d cook is Bibimbap. I had it at a Korean place in Manchester and loved it!

The Korean Table: From Barbecue to Bibimbap! Hmm I would start with Bibimbap. Firstly, since this dish is tasty. Secondly, it is great for learning as others are harder. Thirdly, it makes a great dish to cook for others too! I introduced newbies to this before. They seem to like it, and it’s a great Korean dish for them to start on their Korean food journey ㅋㅋ ^^

Cook Korean! Something most cook books lack is fun! I love testing new recipes, and it’ll make a nice change from all those student cookbooks/budget cooking books I currently have accumulating in my kitchen!

I’ve only ever made 비빔밥 (bibimbap), so I’d like to maybe attempt something more sweet, like 호떡 (hotteok)! Or maybe 팥밥(Pat bap). It’s difficult to choose just one…

I would like cook korean, I think the illustrations are such a smart way of engaging the reader and making the cooking experience a lot more interesting. The first dish that I’d like to try is bibimbap I love the mix of rice, vegetables, meat/fish and sauce, so I’d love to learn how to make it myself.

I would like to win Cook Korea as my son has been learning to cook and the comic style will help me keep it fin as he’s 6.
He has helped a little with Kimbap and non-spicy Kimchi and loved it. His favourite sauce is Bulgogi so I think he would enjoy helping to make it.

I’m a new subscriber!! I can’t wait to receive this month cooking books. I heard positive things about this Korean monthly subscriptions. The book I would like to have is any of them. As they both with have different elements the other won’t. The dish I would love to make is 궁중떡볶이 Gungjung Tteokbokki. It is not widely recognised. But when my Korean friend made it for me at her dorm, I loved it. It was the standard Korean food you can find in England or especially London. It was so authentic, that I can not remove the taste from my mind.

I would like to win the Korean Table because i’m rather new to making Korean dishes. I make a lot of Japanese and Chinese dishes so it would be fun to go into another part of Asian cuisine. I think the first dish I’d try to make is japchae because I really like noodle dishes.
