Best Art Museums In South Korea!

If you’re making plans to go to South Korea, you might be looking for activities to add to your itinerary. Well, why not an art galleries? Whether you’re an art aficionado or just want to take pictures of pretty things, there’s a museum for you. This gallery is Seoul’s oldest art gallery, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth visiting. Year on year improvements are being made, thus making it the masterpiece it is today. It has two locations – one in Gangnam and another in Sagan-dong, so be sure to stop by at least one of the two!

Ho-Am Art Museum

Operating Hours: Tuesday – Sunday, 10:00 – 18:00 Admission: 4,000 won for adults, 3,000 won for children

This museum is perfect for anyone who wants to have fun but experience culture at the same time. Located in Everland, South Korea’s largest theme park, is a beautiful art gallery inside a traditional hanok building. Here you’ll find national treasures as well as more contemporary pieces so it’s definitely worth checking out!

It’s home to the artwork of many international as well as Korean artists, with the exhibits changing all the time to keep up with the art scene. If you’ve only got time for one museum on your trip, this is definitely the one you should see! It has both traditional and contemporary artpieces from Korean and international artists. Even the buildings themselves are a work of art, as they’ve each been designed by world class architects. So in other words, there’s a bit of everything here!
