Over the last weekend, we were invited to attend the screening of NEW’s (Next Entertainment World) ‘Because I Love You’ the 2017 romantic-comedy hit, directed by Joo Ji-Hong and starring Cha Tae-Hyun, Kim Yoo-Jung, and Seo Hyun-Jin…and so of course, being fans of Korean Cinema, we leapt at the chance!
Synopsis: The film focuses on Lee Hyung (Cha Tae-Hyun) a music producer, who on his way to propose to his girlfriend, gets in a terrible car accident. When he wakes up, he finds his spirit in the body of High School Student Kim Mal-Hee (Kim Yoon-Hye) with no memory of who he was previously. He soon befriends High School student Scully (Kim Yoo-Jung) and together they try and figure out who he was and how to get him back to his own body, helping to repair the lives of all the people Lee Hyung possesses along the way.
The mark of a good film is having the power to elicit an emotional reaction from its audience. From start to finish, this film made us feel so many emotions. It made us laugh, it made us cry, it left us all with a sense of warmth and happiness. Through the perspective of an outsider suddenly being hurled into the lives of others and the problems they face, we are reminded of the great power of love…
…The remarkable ability it has to heal and bring positive changes into our lives. A beautiful heartwarming story brought to life through the wonderful talents of all the cast and crew. This film is more than worth the time to see it at least once. We wholeheartedly recommend this film to anyone who is looking for a fun romantic comedy with a deep and meaningful message.
– Also please remember to drive carefully everyone!
